Pixel Placeholder Tiles Pack

About:

A placeholder tile pack heavily inspired by Agnes Runar Heyer's 16x16px tile template set. You can make any top-down or platformer game with this placeholder tileset to get you started with your level designing while you wait for your artist to prettify it.

FREE content contains:

• 32x32 137 Base tiles kit(Ocean-wash color) (Single .PNG file)

PAID content contains:

• 32x32 137 Base tiles kit
• Shape pack made by mix & matching the base tiles.
• An Atlas of the base tiles and the shapes for easier access.
• 8 other color variations to distinguish sections of your levels:
  • fresh-cement, serene-night, mute-venom, clay-brick, dense-forest, soft-abyss, spicy-orange, royal-treasure

Additional details:

• Palette used is Apollo
• Index 0, the top left corner tile is blank. Intentionally made for GameMaker developers.

Planned updates for paid content:

• More flat tile sizes: 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 24x24, 48x48, 96x96
• Isometric tiles
• Hexagonal tiles? -  Would have to look more into this and see how I can make this possible.
• Common and Free level editor files such as Tiled & LDtK

 License Overview

• You can use assets for commercial and non-commercial purposes.
• You can use the assets till the end of time.
• You can use the assets on any number of projects.
• You CANNOT resell or redistribute these assets (modified or raw) as your own.
  • (This is basically really the BIGGEST NO!)
• You cannot make these assets (modified or raw) available for use to the end user of your project.
  • e.g. game/app, education, website, etc.
    • A project that uses the asset (or part of the asset) as a graphical object in any manner is allowed.
    • A project where the end users will be able to save/export and/or access/edit the raw/modified version of the asset itself is NOT allowed.
• You cannot use the assets on printed media of any form.
  • e.g. paper, t-shirts, mugs, canvas, wood etc.
• Credit is not required but EXTREMELY appreciated. In fact, I will try to keep up & make a link back to your project in this asset store and my socials.
  • Here's a google form so i could keep track of you guys. This will help keep my end of the bargain. :)
• If you choose to give me credit, you can do it in any manner or form inside the project upon use of any one or more of the purchased assets.
